MADONNA, 9-year-old TB Mare at 15.3 hands, has produced three nice foals. [Additional Images]

This mare was foaled out at our farm, and was broke to ride and very lightly ridden at ages three and four. She was accepted on a foal-sharing arrangement with a Colorado-based hunter-jumper barn and has produced three nice foals.

She is open this fall and will be reschooled for the show ring and offered for sale. She has just started back to schooling in mid September ’05.

She is an easy keeper, has good sound legs and feet, and is easy to load and work around. Madonna will crib of she does not wear a collar. One owner all her life.

er being pulled off pasture and getting five days of riding, Madonna went to her first show.

She was champion and then reserve champion in the two baby divisions. She had jumped a total of six times under saddle at this point in time.

What was remarkable is that she did all this with her 46 year old amateur rider who is under a physicians care for arthritis and bone spurs in her back!

Watch for this mare to be a wonderful children’s or amateur’s horse with some training and TLC!
